What is Media Player Classic


Media Player Classic is a video and DVD player for Microsoft Windows. It was designed to have a simple interface, but has very robust features.

 

Media Player Classic is designed to "just work" after installation. It includes most of the popular video codecs, so you do not have to track down new codecs for each video file you want to watch. Just drag and drop the video file onto Media Player Classic, and it will "just work".

 

Media Player Classic has a built in DVD player with real-time zoom, support for AVI subtitles, QuickTime and RealVideo support and built-in MPEG2/SVCD/DVD codec.

 

It also supports SVCD/CVD selectable subtitles and lots more. The best part about Media Player Classic is the ability to modify the filters when playing your favorite video files.
